This is the replacement controller for the Hitway BK6S. The controller is the power stage of the bike: it takes battery current, governs how much of it reaches the motor through the 15A current limit, reads the throttle and pedal assist inputs, and drives the display. When it fails — from water ingress, a shorted motor cable, or a voltage spike — the bike typically stops responding to the throttle entirely.
